Ernest Sanderse is Head of Services Europe at Signify (formerlyPhilips Lighting), where he is responsible for shaping the lighting services market. Signify’s energy efficient lighting products, systems and services enables customers to enjoy a superior quality of light, making people’s lives safer and more comfortable, businesses more productive and cities more livable. Ernest is achieving sustainable growth and strengthening market leadership with the European commercial organizations. He drives sales, profitability and customer experience, including growing recurring revenues and accelerating circular business models.

“Having sustainable impact with people, creating value for customers and society" is what drives Ernest. Previously as Commercial Director in Benelux and Global Marketing Director for UVC solutions to purify water & air, he brings a strong experience in driving change and delivering growth. He is experienced in developing organizational capabilities, leading highly engaged commercial and operational teams with a flair of people development. In the Benelux he has been instrumental in the transition of selling products to providing connected systems and intelligent services, including successfully introducing the ‘Light as A Service’ business model, pioneering global growth.

With a customer mindset, Ernest always takes ownership with an outside-in view to maximize customer experience and build trusting stakeholder relationships. He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration.
