Rob Olson is Real Estate manager of Ingka Group (IKEA). As Real Estate manager you are responsible for a team that develops and maintains the Ingka Group Real Estate portfolio.The portfolio consists of over 600 buildings and includes stores, shopping centres, distribution centres, warehouses, and office buildings all over the world.

Rob joined IKEA in 1998. One of the main reasons for joining was the IKEA vision, its culture and values. This has remained the driving forces behind his passion for growth at IKEA.

Before moving to Sweden and prior to his current role, Rob worked with IKEA in the US for twenty years. He has extensive store experience this he believes is the best platform to understand customers and the IKEA business. While in the US organization he helped open two windfarms and secure PV panels on 90% of the roof tops. He also worked on implementing a living wage within the US organization and connected with President Obama on this topic. In his free time he loves to spend time with family and participate in obstacle course races.
