Gail is a collaborative, optimistic, realistic team builder who synthesizes technical data into logical solutions for clients’ sustainability goals. Gail is passionate about optimizing the performance of buildings today to help create resilience for tomorrow.
Gail is a licensed architect with 35 years of experience managing the sustainability goals of multiple complex projects simultaneously. Her experience covers a broad spectrum of project types ranging in scale, industry, location, and scope of work. Gail’s responsibilities as a sustainability director include developing holistic sustainability strategies, creating guidelines, and managing institutional certifications such as LEED, WELL, and Fitwel to name a few.
Gail delivers excellent client service,
documented design performance, and at least one element of
innovative process, product, or outcome on each project.
She is the 2020 Chair for the AIA National Resilience &
Adaptation Advisory Group, an active member of AIA San
Francisco’s Committee on the Environment, and co-founder of
Gensler’s Inclusive Design Network.
