David has over 15 years+ experience working for the two largest lenders in the UK, RBS and Lloyds Banking Group.

He is primarily a real estate finance banker and leader having managed, originated and restructured over £3bn of real estate loans. He has operated across London (twice), Midlands (twice) and the South West and therefore brings a deep understanding of both large real estate financing in the Institutional & Listed space and the regional private real estate markets.

As Managing Director, Structuring & Sustainability, Real Estate & Housing, Commercial Banking, Lloyds Bank he is responsible for driving the sustainability focus of Lloyds in the built environment alongside origination and strategic initiatives.

In addition to his real estate responsibilities, he is the Head of the South West, Corporate & Institutional Coverage (all sectors over £100m turnover) and sits on a number of Commercial Banking and Group Committee relating to sustainability.

David is a lecturer at the University of the West of England on the Real Estate Finance & Investment Masters course. He is an Associate member of both the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) and the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments (CISI).

David holds a first class degree in Economics & International Development from the University of Bath, and is currently on cohort 26 MSt Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Environment (IDBE) at the University of Cambridge.
